Both units converged on Paultons Park for a summer day out. We piled
onto the coach at 9.30, and arrived safely even though the driver tried to convince us that he didn’t know where Paultons Park was! The various groups went around the park individually and we all met up at 1pm for
lunch, just as Scottie the clown began his performance on stage. I think that
the most popular rides were the Dragon Ride and the Raging River Ride, you come off feeling either sick, or wet! All in all a great day out was had by all, and we hope to better it next year by trying out Moors Valley Country Park.

I am taking this oportunity to say a huge THANK YOU! On behalf of all the Guiders from
both units, for the fabulous contributions you all made throughout last term for the Stubbington Ark. This was definately a worth while cause, and with the article in the Evening News to round it off, was beneficial
to both the Ark and Girlguiding in our area.
This was also a good opportunity for the Brownies to attempt their Stage 1 Friend to
Animals badge, with great results. so well done to all who took part.
