pinwheel sandwiches

You will need:

2 slices of bread per child

    butter or margarine

fillings such as jam, chocolate spread, marmite, or peanut butter (beware of allergies).

a rolling pin and knives for spreading and cutting.

What you do:

Give each child two slices of bread with the crusts removed. They then need to roll the slices flat with the rolling pin. Be firm enough to squash the bread but not stick it to the table! Now spread the bread with either butter or marg and their choice of filling. Take care to make the fillings reach the edge of the bread. Roll the bread up to look like swiss roll cakes and slice them into little pinwheels.

    YUMMY!
