This activity is definately for older children.
You will need a small baked bean can filled with water and frozen, the
label should be removed.
A hammer and large strong nail
Safety goggles
Once your can has frozen, you use the nail to punch holes in a pattern
around the tin, but make sure you have goggles on while you do this. The ice prevents the can from collapsing under the pressure of the hammer. Now carefully let your tin run under a hot tap until the ice chunk
drops out. Dry your tin and ask a grown up to help you light a tealight in the tin. Put the lights out and watch them sparkle!
