Key Hooks

These are very pretty once complete and can be hung anywhere that you leave your keys.

You will need:

Blocks of wood sanded at the edges and corners

Pictures of flowers cut from cards or magazines

Hooks and eyes that are normally used for hanging net curtain wire

Glue, varnish and a hairdrier.

First decide which way up your block of wood is going to hang, and screw the eye into the top, but as close to the back as you can get. Next, screw the hook low down on the front of your block, this is what the keys will hang from. Now carefully glue your flower arrangement onto the front. Use the hairdrier to dry the glue, and you can varnish it straight away. Again use the hairdrier and your key hook is ready to take home.

You could always paint your block in pretty colours before glueing on the flower cut outs, and if your block is big enough you could use more than just one hook. The end results are both beautiful and practical whatever you decide.
